DAWRA SYNOPSIS Albert, an OFW who spent five years working abroad, returns home unannounced to surprise his wife Sofia on her birthday. Instead, he walks in on her sleeping with another man, Joseph. Heartbroken and betrayed, Albert confronts Sofia, who admits she’s been cheating for a year due to loneliness and emotional neglect. The confrontation turns emotional and painful, ending with Sofia being asked to leave. Later, Joseph also apologizes to Albert, claiming he didn’t know Sofia was married. The story fast-forwards to a year later, revealing Sofia in a toxic relationship with Ryan, who treats her poorly. A chance encounter at a drinking session reunites Albert and Sofia. Despite still having feelings for her, Albert ultimately chooses to walk away after a moment of weakness, realizing Sofia’s life choices haven’t changed. The story ends with both characters facing the emotional wreckage of their decisions.
